Modality Solutions’ president Gary Hutchinson and principal Daniel Littlefield will be attending and participating in the American Biomanufacturing Summit.

Taking place from 14 June to 15 June at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, Modality Solutions is playing an integral role as a Silver Partner Sponsor.

Both Hutchinson and Littlefield will take part in one of the meetings, along with hosting nine different partners at the summit.

Hutchinson said: “The focus on cold chain for new modalities at this year’s summit could not be more timely. The rapid introduction of gene therapy products has made a challenging cold chain management strategy even more complex.

“The need to better control a range of temperatures from deep frozen to refrigerated to room temperature, coupled with the sensitive drug products and packaging, mean executives have to better understand the risks and the opportunities.”

Littlefield added: “The ability to test drug product and packaging against multiple hazards in the cold chain transportation environmental is more critical than ever before.”

The American Biomanufacturing Summit is one of the most senior-level conferences and networking events in the industry. It is designed to provide biopharmaceutical executives with current trends, strategic insights and best practices in manufacturing, as well as outsourcing, capacity management, quality assurance, quality control, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, supply chain and logistics.

Attendees network with more than 200 of their peers as they explore strategies to maximise efficiency while remaining compliant in an ever-evolving environment.

The summit is the key forum to get a handle on critical topics in quality, manufacturing, business drivers and regulatory challenges/solutions.
